Camping International

What could be better than experiencing a country in all its authenticity? At Camping International Porlezza, this is possible; here, you experience the true Italian life. In addition to chalets owned by Dutch residents, there are also many Italians who enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the delightful Lake Lugano. If you stroll through the campsite in the afternoon or evening, you cannot miss the delightful Italian aromas emanating from Italian accommodations.

To enjoy a delicious meal, you can visit the restaurant on the campsite, Il Pinguino. Here, you can indulge in Italian dishes or grab a pizza to enjoy at your chalet. Of course, you can also fire up the barbecue at the chalet or cook your own meals.

The most beautiful aspect of the campsite is undoubtedly its location directly on Lake Lugano and on the edge of the authentic village of Porlezza. Lake Lugano is very accessible for families with children, as it gradually deepens and its beaches are mainly pebbled. Prefer some more action? Lake Lugano is also suitable for boating, canoeing, or stand-up paddleboarding. The campsite features a nice swimming pool with various slides, enjoyable for both young and old alike.

But is this all that makes the campsite beautiful? Not at all, the campsite has so much more to offer. There is a small supermarket where you can get fresh rolls every morning, an ice cream parlor for your daily treat, or just a nice cup of coffee. Children can have fun in the playground or participate in the entertainment program (during the high season).

Area

Walking from the campsite, you can easily reach the picturesque village of Porlezza, where you can stroll along the promenade, enjoy various restaurants, or do some shopping. Looking for a larger city? There are several options. You can quickly reach Menaggio, Lugano, and Como. A bit further away, and you’ll find yourself in beautiful Milan or at the Monza circuit.
